This work explores how water, traditionally regarded as an enemy to musical instruments, can be used creatively to make music. Almost none of the instruments found in an orchestra are employed; instead, the performance is created solely with water and small objects. As a result, water contributes to the music not so much as an instrument itself, but as a vehicle of sound that gives the small objects a musical life.

The piece was commissioned and dedicated to Kalle Hakosalo.

Teos tutkii, miten vettä voi käyttää luovasti musiikin ja äänen tuottamiseen. Sen keskiössä ovat vesiastia sekä kokoelma pieniä esineitä. Veden funktio teoksessa ei itsessään ole musiikillinen, vaan se toimii apuvälineenä esineiden äänipotentiaalin tutkimiseen.
